Kick-Off Meeting: “No More Moving Out” Project Launch — 7th July 2025

On the 7th of July 2025, we officially launched the “No More Moving Out” in Tallinn project—a collaborative initiative aimed at empowering disadvantaged young people with digital, AI, and self-employment skills to build sustainable futures within their own communities.

Across many regions, young people face limited opportunities and feel compelled to leave their hometowns for larger cities or even abroad. This migration not only creates emotional and social challenges but also deprives local communities of valuable talent and potential for growth.

With the rise of AI and automation, new job opportunities exist—but without proper skills and guidance, many disadvantaged youth are unable to access them. This project aims to break that cycle.

The kick-off meeting brought together partners from all participating countries to:

  • Introduce the project’s goals, expected results, and timelines.

  • Assign roles and responsibilities to each partner organization.

  • Discuss the development of four training modules on digital skills, AI, automation, and self-employment.

  • Plan the creation of a digital resource library and a guide to freelancing and entrepreneurship in partner countries.

  • Coordinate upcoming activities, including the youth worker training in Poland and local pilot training sessions.

Key points discussed:
✔ Finalization of the project timeline and communication plan
✔ Agreement on dissemination strategies to reach youth, communities, and stakeholders
✔ Introduction of the “No More Moving Out Network”, aiming to connect at least 100 youth, experts, and local businesses
✔ Sustainability, green practices, risk management, and evaluation processes for the project handbook

This project has been funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
